5-Course, Online EVOC Series Now Available

Refresh your personnel’s skills with this 5-part series that’s designed to meet various NFPA standards and can be used to mitigate the risks associated with poorly trained drivers. In this series, we cover the theory and principles of defensive driving in both emergency and non-emergency situations, as well as how emergency driving differs from non-emergency driving. Our online modules will also review proper space management, following distance and rate of closure, with the goal of properly identifying hazards that can result in collision or injury.

Courses include:

  • Emergency Vehicle Driving Requirements
  • Selecting the Proper Personnel for Driving Emergency Vehicle
  • Emergency Vehicle Characteristics
  • Emergency Vehicle Driving Dynamics
  • Emergency Vehicle Driving Techniques

“FireRescue1 Academy has allowed me to select subject specific videos and supplement material to support scheduled training topics. When developing lesson plans it is very easy to add this material to the drill. The training material is perfect for providing some cognitive learning objectives prior to participating in the practical application.”
