Fire Reality Training

The Fire Reality Training Series focuses on giving firefighters real-life applications. The courses in this series are specifically chosen by Chief Wylie and cover hot topics and relevant training that affect firefighters on a day-to-day basis. Our training videos range from 5 – 15 minutes, allowing first responders to learn and apply the training in shorter time frames. Within the fire reality series, each video presents a real-life scenario clip evaluated by Chief Rob Wylie. Best practices and efficient training are highlighted for departments and individuals to learn and apply firefighting techniques and safety efforts.

Chief Wylie is a certified instructor for FireRescue1 Academy and has been in the fire service for 30 years. He is a graduate of Lindenwood University, University of Maryland Staff and Command School, and the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. Wylie has served as Director of the St. Charles Warren County Hazmat Team, and as President of the Greater St. Louis Fire Chief’s Association. Currently, Chief Wylie serves as the President of the Professional Fire & Fraud Investigator’s Association and is an appointed member of the Governor’s Homeland Security Advisory Council, as well as a current board member of the State of Missouri’s Fire Education and Safety Commission.
