Bloodborne Pathogens for First Responders This Bloodborne Pathogens online course provides the necessary training in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Bloodborne Pathogen Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030 for firefighters and is appropriate for emergency responders. 1
HazMat First Responder Awareness (FRA) Level I This Hazmat First Responder Awareness course assists the First Responder in recognizing the hazardous substance and understanding how to respond. 1
Highway Incident Safety Guidelines for Emergency Responders This two-hour course will equip you with the information needed to properly facilitate at the scene of a traffic incident. 2
HIPAA for First Responders This course covers the basics of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act or HIPAA. This course will explain the concept and rules related to HIPAA and the necessary safeguards you should take as a First Responder. 1.5
Ladder Safety 101 This one hour course will educate you to ladder safety and the limitations and restrictions of ladders. It will also discuss the appropriate safety techniques you should practice. Additionally, this course will address the danger of a fall. Even the smallest of step ladders can result in significant injury. 1
Ladder Safety 201 Using a single ladder and extension ladders can be very different. This one hour course builds on Ladder Safety 101. This course focuses on how to properly use specific types of ladders such as Single Ladders, Extension Ladders, Mobile Ladders and Articulated Ladders. You will learn how to set-up these kinds of ladders and their specific uses. 1
Personal Protective Equipment 101 Hazards exist in every workplace – from sharp edges, falling objects, flying sparks, chemicals, noise to other dangerous situations. Wearing personal protective equipment is the first line of protection for employees. This one-hour course will better inform you about PPE and how wearing the proper equipment will create a safe and comfortable working environment for both yourself and your co-workers. It will focus on PPE to protect your body, head, eyes and face. 1
Personal Protective Equipment 102 This one hour course will explore additional equipment you may not consider personal protective equipment. This Personal Protective Equipment 102 is a continuation to Personal Protective Equipment 101. It will focus on the safety equipment to protect your hearing such as noise canceling earplugs or ear muffs. It also focuses on gloves to as well as coated fabric to protect your hands and arms. It also includes safety shoe information and types of breathing apparatuses to keep employees safe from workplace hazards. 1
Sexual Harassment for Managers This two-hour course will better inform you about sexual harassment and how to prevent it in order to create a safe and comfortable working environment for both yourself and your co-workers. 2
Sexual Harassment in the Workplace This course will train you in how to identify, report, and eliminate harassment from the workplace. 1
Supervisor Skills 101 This one-hour course provides an overview of the skills supervisors, and managers need to manage employees effectively. Supervisors and managers are the backbone of the business – linking upper management to the body of the organization. Effective supervisors and managers must possess a variety of skills to be successful in the workplace. This course focuses on effective communication, responsibilities of a Supervisor, leadership skills, and organizational development. 1
Supervisor Skills 201 This one-hour course will cover how supervisors and managers can continue to build a basic foundation of the vital skills necessary to manage their employees. During this course, you will gain a better understanding of five additional key skills that supervisors and managers must possess to be successful. The skills shared in this course are those which can be learned and mastered through both education and practice. They include implementing change, promoting fundamental values, using good judgment, producing results, and developing your team. 1
Workplace Bullying This two-hour course will better inform you about sexual harassment and how to prevent it in order to create a safe and comfortable working environment for both yourself and your co-workers, and satisfies that mandatory training requirement for California AB 1825 / AB 2053. 2
